Placement in Advanced Courses
The Iowa Algebra Aptitude Test is given to all 6th graders in Fairfax County Public Schools to determine placement in 7th grade Algebra 1 Honors, which is a high school credit. In Loudoun County, Iowa Pre-Algebra Aptitude Test is given to all 5th graders for placement in Pre-Algebra 1 in 6th grade.
